TREKKING & BACKPACKING CLUB

Is a non-profit organization, that was founded in 1982 because we felt that there was a growing need to develop an association of members who were tied together by an abiding interest in adventure travel. We knew there was a lack of readily available information on who was doing what, where, when and how. We realized there was no focal point, no international repository, no data center, where information on adventure travel could easily be obtained.

In the past 4 years the Club has become Peru's clearing-house for information on tours and adventure trips opportunities open to public participation and has developed a national constituency of organizations, business and institutions that organize tours and adventure trips and suited adventure travels programs for independent travelers in trekking, climbing and outdoor sports.
