ALPAMAYO

The pyramid shaped Alpamayo was voted "the most beautiful mountain in the world" in an international survey in 1966.  Mountaineers from around the world attempt the peak every season.  Climbing the final 450 meters of the  wall to the summit is a true test of a climber's technical ability and stamina.
