Timing: 1:30 hours walk
Altitude: 3300 m
Rating: Easy

  It should take about 15 minutes and cost something between 5 and 10 soles to get up by taxi to the cross of 'el mirador', the viewpoint of Rataquenua. It is not recommendable to walk up to the cross as the road is winding and dusty without much to see. Fron the top you will have excelent views to the the Cordillera Blanca and Negra and also a panoramic view of the town.
